This table commemorates the fact that Murfreesboro was the captial of the state of Tennessee from September 26, 1819 to Ocotber 15, 1825. Erected by the Col. Hardy Murfee chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution 1921. Patriotism is kindled in the hearts of a people by the flaming torch of history.
