Resolution making Murfreesboro State Capital. Resolved by the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee, that the next meeting of the General Assembly shall be at the town of Murfreesborough, in the county of Rutherford, and all public offices therein belonging be removed to the said town of Murfreesborough on the First Day of June 1818. Adopted Nov 24, 1817, House Journal 1817, page 296. Former State Capital.
